Ankita Sahay

Ankita offers a warm, respectful, and thoughtfully held space where your experiences can be explored with care rather than carried alone. She can help begin to make sense of what’s happening for you, gently untangling patterns and opening up new ways of relating to yourself and others.

At times, you may find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or noticing patterns in your life that no longer feel helpful or sustainable. You may not have all the words for it yet, but you know something needs attention.

My name is Ankita and I aim to offer a warm, respectful, and thoughtfully held space where your experiences can be explored with care rather than carried alone. Together, we can begin to make sense of what’s happening for you, gently untangling patterns and opening up new ways of relating to yourself and others.

My approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in compassion. I bring curiosity, steadiness, and honesty to our work, always at a pace that feels right for you.

I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including working sensitively with people from ethnic minority communities. I recognise that cultural identity, lived experience, and systemic factors can shape how we understand and access mental health support. I am committed to helping bridge the gap between mental health services and those who may feel unseen, unheard, or underserved, offering a space where your voice and story are genuinely valued.

I am currently working towards professional accreditation and my postgraduate training in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. My work is supported through regular clinical supervision, and I adhere to the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), of which I am a registered member. I am committed to maintaining high ethical standards, ongoing professional development, and providing safe, responsible, and client-centred care.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate things alone. I offer a supportive and collaborative space where meaningful change can begin. You are welcome to come as you are.
