I am a qualified Integrative counsellor and hold a BA (Hons) Counselling and Foundation Degree in Counselling both from University of Wales Trinity of St David’s. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and currently working towards accreditation.
The Integrative framework means that I am able combine theory and techniques from key theoretical approaches. These include Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This allows the therapy to be tailored and flexible to the individual’s needs. My approach is also influenced in working at relational depths within the healing process.
I offer a therapeutic experience which is sensitive and accepting with genuine warmth and understanding in a safe confidential space. With a non- judgmental, empathetic, trusting relationship between client and counsellor it provides an environment for individual healing and emotional growth.
Areas of counselling: Loss, Bereavement, Relationship Issues, Low Self-esteem, Low Self-Confidence, Anxiety, Depression, Body image, Domestic Violence, Stress, Illness, Family Issues, Sadness, Work-related Stress, Trauma, Self harm, Compulsive Behaviours, Anger.
